across from the pits and near start/finish and you can see the entire track
Hotels:
The Marriott-Executive Park-Charlotte is a deluxe full service hotel
featuring restaurants and lounge areas, indoor/outdoor pool (Marriott),
exercise room, Jacuzzi, business center, complimentary airport shuttle and
more. The Marriott is located off I-77 at exit #5 and is 18 miles from the
track.
VIP Package:
The VIP Package includes a upscale buffet lunch and drinks in the
prominent and exclusive Speedway Club (see description below)
overlooking the track Friday or Saturday (choose one) as well as pit
passes (the opening and closing schedule of pit road is determined by
NASCAR on race weekends, see description below). This is the perfect way to
complete your race package. If you are looking to rub elbows with some of
the most important and influential people in motor racing, then this package
is the one for you!
Pre-race Pit Access:
The weekend Pit Access Pass is a one day pass good prior to race time
on Saturday (please note that NASCAR controls the opening and closing of pit
road and scheduling may or may not allow for Friday pit access) . This pass
will give you access to pit road, not the garage area. Please note that
NASCAR rules state that you must be 16 years of age and a dress code
applies. Generally open toe shoes, tank or halter tops, short pants and
coolers are not allowed on pit road. This is subject to interpretation by
the security guards at the access gate. Weather could also be a factor in
determining the availability of pit road. (We
can not be responsible if for any reason you are not able to take a pit road
tour.)
Speedway Club (Friday or Saturday):
The Speedway Club meal packages for dinner on Friday or Sunday
include admission to the exclusive Speedway Club overlooking Lowes
Motor Speedway, a fabulous buffet including prime rib and many other
tantelizing items, salad bar and desert bars, alcoholic and non-alcoholic
beverages during your meal, and the ambiance of a beautiful club
environment. You may enjoy the Speedway Club as long as you wish after
dining; however, each seating for lasts for 45 minutes. There is also a
lounge area, souvenir stores, art galleries and an informal dining area that
you can enjoy. This is an excellent addition to anyone looking for a
slightly more upscale version of a race weekend.
Race Shop Tour:
Our Race Shop Tour option includes a 5 hour tour of sightseeing
race shops and the local areas of interest in the racing rich community on
Friday (October 10th) prior to the Nationwide Series race. We'll depart by
deluxe motorcoach early this morning for visits for the following race
shops: Hendrick Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, Penske Racing South and JR
racing (tentative and subject to change). We'll also drive by Dale
Earnhardt Inc., Ganassi, Roush Racing and others. We'll stop for lunch
(included) at Lancaster's BBQ in Mooresville. This is one of the most
popular restaurants for crew members. This is the perfect way to start your
race package. If you would like to get a close up and in depth view of the
Race Shops, what goes on there and the general area, then this option is for
you! You never know who you will run into on this tour.
Hospitality (Saturday):
The Speedzone Hospitality packages includes admission to the
